1. Who This Applies To

This notice applies to California residents and supplements our Privacy Policy. It describes your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and how to exercise them. Krytho is operated by Orange-Robot LLC.

2. Your Rights as a California Consumer

  • Right to know: Request disclosure of the personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, or sold about you.
  • Right to delete: Request that we delete the personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to correct: Request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing: Direct us not to sell or share your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the right is yours regardless.
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: We do not collect or use sensitive personal information for purposes that trigger this right.
  • Right to non-discrimination: Exercise any of these rights without being denied service, charged a different price, or given a lower quality of service.
  • Right to data portability: Receive the personal information we collected in a readily usable format.

3. Personal Information We Collect

In the past 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information, as described in Section 3 of our Privacy Policy:

  • Identifiers: your name and email address, and account identifiers issued by our authentication provider
  • Commercial information: your plan status and the subscription identifiers held by our payment processor. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and are never received or stored by us.
  • Internet or network activity: pages visited, features used, browser and operating system, and approximate location (city, region, and country) derived from your IP address. We store IP addresses only as a salted, irreversible hash.
  • Professional information: the firm name, firm website, practice area, and city you submit when you run a scan. This is business information about a law firm rather than information about you personally.

We collect this information directly from you, automatically as you use the Service, and from the service providers listed in Section 5 of our Privacy Policy. We use it to provide the Service, authenticate and secure your account, process payments, communicate with you, improve the product, and meet our legal obligations.

4. We Do Not Sell or Share Your Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose personal information to the service providers named in our Privacy Policy solely so they can perform services on our behalf. We have not sold or shared the personal information of any consumer, including anyone under 16, in the past 12 months.

5. How to Exercise Your Rights

You can submit a request in any of these ways:

An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf. We will ask for written permission signed by you and will still verify your identity directly.

6. Verification

Before we act on a request to know, delete, or correct, we must verify that you are the person the information belongs to. We will contact you at the email address on file and may ask you to confirm details we already hold. We use the information you provide for verification only, and we delete it once the request is closed. If we cannot verify your identity, we will tell you why and will not release or delete the information.

7. Response Timeline

We confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days. If we need more time, we will notify you and may extend by up to 45 additional days. There is no charge for a request unless it is excessive or repetitive, in which case we will explain the cost before proceeding.
